Here at dBace we produce lots of web database projects to customers specifications. For one project we needed to produce filtered newsfeeds and although there are several excellent sites which combine RSS feeds in various ways I couldn't find one which did all the things I required so I created filterfeeder.

filterfeeder can:-

• Combine together several RSS feeds into one feed.
• Filter items in the resulting feed
• Select a subset of items from each feed either sequentially or randomly
• Sort the items into publication date order
• Supply the resulting feed as RSS or Javascript/DHTML

filterfeeder is free to use although we have to pay for our hosting and bandwidth so a small donation would always help.

collections (as we call them) created with filterfeeder will remain on the server so long as they are accessed at least once a month otherwise they will simply expire and be removed.

filterfeeder is brand new and as such, may have a few wrinkles which need to be ironed out. We also have some ideas on improvements and new features so watch this space. Please feel free to point out things that are wrong or things we can do better - we love constructive critisism.
